Hippoplatypies. i

I do this thing sometimes where I try to wear bras with wires.

That usually doesn’t last more than a day.

Sometimes I wish clothing were described by its design or cut rather than by its print.

When I go on sewing rampages, I usually wear as little clothing as possible without being totally naked because it’s practical.

1. If I’m working on clothes, I can try them on as I go, and

2. The sewing machine heats up my room, which is already naturally warm, like no other. I live in Texas and we’re conditioned to be used to heat from birth and I still can’t handle it.

I can’t eat grapefruit and milk without thinking, “I’m making a titration in my mouth!”

Two gross ones, yay.

One: I’ve been on my period for the past week and a half.

Two: The longest period I’ve ever had has been three weeks.

I like to eat grapefruit with my fingers.

I probably have more purple pens than the average American household.

I used to have this irrational fear of biting into a strawberry and finding a slug in the hollow part in the middle.

Sometimes I have trouble dealing with the fact that I have two eyes.

In middle school, I’d take whatever the hell I could get my hands on, and if it had holes or could be attached to a ring, I’d put it on a chain and wear it as a necklace. Christmas ornaments, keychains, a C battery, shells, cassette tapes, etc.
